The Pink Stairs is one of the world's largest youth-led organizations dedicated to empowering young women through community , opportunity, and leadership development. We believe that every woman deserves a space where her voice can be heard and her aspirations supported. We challenge societal norms and strive to erase the stigma surrounding feminism to create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and individuality. ​
Our mission is to cultivate a community where young women can embrace their femininity and take on leadership roles with confidence. We recognize the unique challenges women face in today’s society and aim to provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities that foster resilience and growth. Through various initiatives and programs, we focus on the importance of education and literacy as tools for empowerment, equipping our members with the skills they need to succeed in their personal and professional lives. At The Pink Stairs, we prioritize community, fostering connections and support among women; opportunity, creating pathways for personal and professional growth; and leadership development, empowering young women to embrace their potential and take charge of their futures.
We strive to inspire solidarity among young women by creating a safe and supportive environment where they can share their experiences and perspectives. Our community is built on the belief that feminism should be a source of pride, not shame, and we encourage young women to embrace their femininity and understand that advocating for gender equality is both empowering and essential. Together, we can create a future where being a feminist is celebrated and where young women feel confident to defend their identities and advocate for change.
Education is an incredibly powerful tool for empowering women, and it all starts with access. 130,000,000+ girls worldwide are still denied an education, which could open doors to financial independence and self-advocacy. We focus on literacy and encourage women to pursue fields where they’ve been historically underrepresented. We advocate for mentorship, better representation in leadership, and dismantling gender biases in hiring.
Through our internships, podcast, accelerators, and webinars, we equip young women with skills and platforms to amplify their voices and reach their full potential.
Our name challenges the misconception that femininity and leadership cannot coexist. Leadership is not inherently masculine.
We aim to empower young girls to embrace their unique identities - they can be girly, frilly, and still taken seriously in professional environments. By fostering leadership skills, we equip young women with the confidence to assert their voices and pursue their ambitions without compromising their femininity. At TPS, we celebrate diverse expressions of leadership, encouraging women to lead authentically and powerfully.
